An exciting teenage sensation has completed a move to Liverpool.
Under Arne Slot it has become a little bit difficult for the Reds' young stars to get chances in the first team.
The Dutchman is less keen on rotating his options, and he certainly hasn't given as many opportunities to academy talent as his predecessor, Jurgen Klopp.
However, even in spite of this, there remains a pathway for young players at Anfield. Rio Ngumoha is proof of that this season. Meanwhile, Trey Nyoni is slowly breaking through.
Not to mention, there is also an exciting new generation coming through the ranks at U21 and U18 level.
If you're a young player, Liverpool is still the place to be. Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards will not change the club's policy of trying to sign the most exciting young players on the planet any time soon.
Including their latest recruit, who is from the USA.
Despite Liverpool's owners being from the North American country, the Reds have never really had a USMNT star in their team. Christian Pulisic might have been that, but he opted to join Chelsea instead.
In the academy players like Marc Pelosi and Brooks Lennon have featured for the club at U21 level, but never made it for the first team.
Right now Keyrol Figueroa is the closest to making that step but even that seems unlikely.
Nonetheless, the quest for Liverpool to have a US star remains. Imagine how enticing and marketable it would be for FSG, especially when the Reds travel to North America quite often for pre-season.
Perhaps the latest US sensation who has just joined the club could finally fulfil that prophecy, although it's early days.
According to Ballerz Scout on Instagram, Liverpool have completed a deal to sign ormer Colorado Rapids youth player Noah Dash Allen on trial at the club's academy.
The 14-year-old has been on trial with Reds for the last month or so, and has caught the eye in several games. Recently he netted against Birmingham for the academy, and also registered an assist.
A right-winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder, Dash Allen has brilliant technical skills, and he's regarded as one of the standout US prospects in his age-group.
Dash Allen has also previously been invited and has spent several occasions at Manchester City's academy, including back in September of 2024 so it looks like Liverpool have been their arch rivals to his signature.
Whether Dash Allen will be able to reach the heights his fellow Americans haven't been able to at Anfield remains to be seen. For now, there will be a lot of work and development ahead of him.
