Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reached an agreement with the club regarding a summer departure.

Liverpool has confirmed the session on the official website, and the Egyptian will move on as a free agent. The 33-year-old has been exceptional since joining Liverpool, and he has broken countless records during his time at Anfield.

Salah has helped Liverpool win every club-level trophy available to him, except the UEFA Europa League. He leaves as one of the club’s most decorated players and one of the greatest players to grace the Premier League.

He has scored 255 goals and picked up 122 assists in his 435 appearances for Liverpool so far.

Mohamed Salah sends a message for the fans

The Liverpool attacker has shared a message on social media for the fans.

“Unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. “I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined this club, this city, this people would become part of my life. Liverpool is not just a football club, it’s a passion, it’s a history, it’s a spirit, I can’t explain it to anyone not part of this club. “We celebrated victory. We won the most important trophies. We fought together through the hardest times of our lives. I want to thank everyone who was part of this club throughout my time especially the teammates past and present and to the fans. I don’t have enough words – the support you showed me, to the best time of my career and you stood by me in the toughest times is something I will never forget and something I will take with me always. “Leaving is never easy. You gave me the best time of my life. I will always be one of you! This club will always be my home, to me and to my family. Thank you for everything. Because of all of you, I will never walk alone.”
