Liverpool confirm Djylian N'Guessan signing

Liverpool have confirmed that promising forward Djylian N'Guessan will officially be a Reds player in January.

The French youth international has come through Saint-Étienne academy and has already made 12 senior appearances for the club despite turning 18 at the end of August.

Liverpool have moved quickly to secure the youngster who will officially join in January 2027 with reports suggesting a £6.4 million fee.

However, it won't be until next summer that N'Guessan will link up with Liverpool with the player spending the entire 2026/27 campaign on loan at Ligue 1 side Stade Brestois. Fans could potentially get an early look at their new player on Saturday when Brest travel to face Le Havre with his new side looking for a first win after having drawn their first two games of the campaign.
