Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush is a target for Liverpool ahead of the 2025 transfer windows and the Reds could have an ace up their sleeve in the form of Mohamed Salah.

The 25-year-old has been the best player in the Bundesliga so far this season with the forward producing nine goals and six assists across nine games in all competitions for Frankfurt.

Marmoush’s contributions have helped the German club sit third in the Bundesliga table, just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich. The Egypt international destroyed the Bavarian giants with a brace and an assist at the weekend giving Frankfurt a major boost heading into the international break.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Eintracht Frankfurt want to extend Marmoush’s current contract until 2028 and plan on offering the player a higher salary.

However, the forward is believed to be hesitant about penning a new deal at Deutsche Bank Park, as the Egyptian has attracted interest from the Premier League ahead of the 2025 transfer windows.

The Sky reporter states that unless something extraordinary happens, Marmoush will remain with Frankfurt until the summer of 2025, but it is then when the English clubs could move.

Liverpool monitoring the situation of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush

Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Marmoush as the Reds are said to be monitoring the 25-year-old’s situation in Germany, reports Florian Plettenberg.

With the future of Mohamed Salah uncertain at Anfield, the Premier League outfit are in the market for another forward option, with Florian Plettenberg also reporting the Merseyside club’s interest in Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi.

Liverpool may have an advantage in the race for Marmoush as they could use Salah to help convince his Egypt teammate to make the move to Anfield.

There is a long way to go before the future of the Frankfurt star is decided and he is a player the Bundesliga club will not let go easily should he continue on his current run of form.
