These three sides should keep an eye on developments at Anfield over the coming weeks
Kaide Gordon didn't have too much of an opportunity last season to showcase his skillset in his first loan move away from Liverpool.
The 21-year-old wideman was sent out to a couple of Championship clubs last term. First, Norwich City, where he managed just one league start through the opening half of the campaign.
Then, after being recalled in January, he was sent back to the second tier with Portsmouth in the hopes of getting more game time. However, he managed even fewer appearances with John Mousinho's side, being left as an unused substitute more times than he played.
This summer, Gordon was kept at Liverpool to continue his development in the youth teams, but he's clearly shown so far this season that he's ready for a proper crack at senior football.
Alongside a cameo appearance against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup, he's scored two and set up three in Premier League 2, and came up with a brace against Chesterfield in the EFL Trophy.
So, the Reds may be looking to try and send Gordon back out on loan again, and these three teams should be champing at the bit to bring him in.

Championship sides shouldn't be put off by the lacklustre performances on loan in the second tier last season by Gordon. He wasn't afforded a proper crack at regular football, and he's now a year older and more developed.
Therefore, Derby County could be an option for the 21-year-old, especially given his ties with the club.
Gordon came through the academy at Pride Park, making his debut as a 16-year-old in a 4-0 win over Birmingham City in December 2020. The following February, he was snapped up by the Premier League champions.
Despite Joe Ward coming into his own on the right in recent games, the right side of midfield is still a potential weak point for John Eustace's side, especially given the 30-year-old's recent issues with long-term injuries.
Therefore, bringing back Gordon to help compete with and perhaps improve the widemen at the club could be a smart choice, and would help the 21-year-old recapture some of that hype that he lost out in the second tier last season.

However, if it does end up that Gordon doesn't command much interest in the Championship, there should still be some League One sides ready to put an offer in.
Huddersfield Town have had their fair share of injuries so far this season, especially out wide.
Both Will Alves and Zepiqueno Redmond arrived from Leicester City and Aston Villa, respectively, with plenty of promise in the attacking areas. They both netted on their league debuts, but their time on the pitch has been short-lived.
Alves suffered a foot injury, whilst Redmond picked up a serious knee injury, too. They're both said to be out for months.
So, when January comes around, Terriers manager Lee Grant will have a decision to make. Wait for the two to return, or perhaps terminate those loans and use the spots they open up to reinforce the position with more exciting young talent.
If it's the latter he chooses, there may be no better option than Gordon.

Despite boasting the league's top scorer in Lorent Tolaj and scoring a respectable 19 goals in 16 League One games, Plymouth Argyle seem rather disjointed up front, especially in wide areas.
They've struggled with injuries, too, with the likes of Xavier Amaechi and Caleb Watts missing for large parts of the campaign so far, and when the duo return, Amaechi in the next month and Watts in January, things might look a little brighter.
But for the time being, they're lacking real quality out wide, and reinforcing that position just in case any more serious injuries are picked up should be a priority for the Pilgrims this winter.
For a club possibly set to battle relegation long into the new year, having Gordon could provide Argyle with a much-needed boost to ensure they steer well clear of the bottom four come May.
