According to a recent report Liverpool have high hopes for an exciting wonderkid at the club likened to Erling Haaland.
Over the course of the last decade, the club's academy has improved immeasurably. For a while after the emergence of Michael Owen, Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard, the Reds had a barren run of not being able to produce any serious talent.

But this has changed.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Conor Bradley, Jarell Quansah and Caoimhin Kelleher are just a few names who have come through and played significant roles in the first team from the club's academy.
There are even more exciting young players coming through now like Jayden Danns, Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha. Not to mention the likes of Erik Farkas and Joshua Abe in the club's youth set-up.
If there is one position where Liverpool have struggled to produce players it's probably the forward position.
Back in the day, Liverpool's academy brought through the likes of Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and the aforementioned Owen but since then every single really exciting forward at academy level has failed to make it with the first team.
Danns is probably the only one who can say he's put his marker down at senior level having already scored three times. He may yet break the disappointing trend, too.
But he's not the only one who Liverpool have earmarked as the club's potential future no.9.
There's another exciting young player who is earning comparisons to Erling Haaland in the club's academy.
Harrison O'Brien is attracting a lot of attention lately for Liverpool's academy. He scored a hat-trick in the U15 Merseyside Cup against Ferencvaros earlier this month.
Then he followed that up by scoring six goals in Liverpool's U15 side's 7-1 victory over Stoke City. An industrious forward who can also play on the wing, the inner circles of the club are starting to get excited by O'Brien's potential.
That is according to the Daily Mail which claims that one expert source connected to Liverpool's academy said the following about the young forward:
‘He is scary good, like a young Erling Haaland’
With the long-hair and the ability to score goals for fun, it's easy to see where those comparisons come from.
O'Brien is definitely a name worth keeping a close eye on.
He's another big talent coming through the ranks at the academy, which is now looking very strong.
Liverpool's future is definitely in safe hands.
