Hugo Ekitike made a stunning impression from his very first appearances with Liverpool. In an interview this weekend, he reflected on his rapid rise since his summer transfer.

Ekitike joined Liverpool from Eintracht Frankfurt for around €95 million, making him one of the most expensive French players in football history. Developed at Reims, he had a less dazzling spell at PSG before regaining his form in Germany. Liverpool chose to make a major investment in him, convinced by his immense potential.
