Liverpool spent £450m on new players last summer but there remains a sense that sporting director Richard Hughes isn’t quite done yet.
We could see more attackers added - either in January or next summer - as the Premier League champions consider even more changes up top.
Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak should provide consistency at No9 for the seasons ahead - but on the wing we could see new recruits brought on board.
There is a sense that an improvement could be sourced for Cody Gakpo on the left - while Mo Salah will require a successor either next summer or 2027 when his contract ends.
And one player who could be brought to the club to augment Arne Slot’s attacking options is Karim Adeyemi.

The 23-year-old currently stars for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and the Bundesliga - but is facing an increasingly uncertain future.
The Germany international is out of contract in 2027 and right now Dortmund are not optimistic about a renewal.
The left-footed attacker has got pace to burn - and could well provide an intriguing option on the right side of Liverpool’s attack or else as a supplementary central option.
It’s been reported that Liverpool have opened the bidding for Adeyemi with a cut-price offer - with Fichajes claiming a deal worth €20m (£17m) has been slid across Dortmund’s desk.
“At Anfield, they believe the German fits their profile as a direct attacker, capable of breaking down defenses with speed and providing solutions on quick transitions,” the report reads.
“However, the English club are unwilling to pay Borussia Dortmund's asking price and have opted for a much more aggressive strategy.
“Liverpool's objective would be to test Borussia Dortmund's resolve and exploit any internal weaknesses to initiate negotiations for a lower price.”
