Liverpool are open to selling star goalkeeper Alisson Becker, according to Sky Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

The 33-year-old’s contract expires in 2027, and it appears Liverpool are not prepared to extend his stay at Anfield.

AC Milan are already plotting a move for Alisson, as they seek a replacement for Chelsea-linked Mike Maignan, who is set to leave the club as a free agent next summer.

The Rossoneri have already contacted Alisson’s representatives over a potential move, but it remains to be seen whether the Brazilian would be open to joining them.

Alisson joined Liverpool in 2018 and has won six titles with the Merseyside giants, establishing himself as one of the best European shot-stoppers.

The two-time Premier League winner has become injury-prone in recent seasons, prompting Liverpool to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.

Mamardashvili has already proven himself as a worthy successor to Alisson this season, strengthening Liverpool’s position to sell the former Roma man.

The Brazilian is not the only player likely to leave Anfield next summer, with uncertainty surrounding Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konate.

Saudi Arabia are prepared to do ‘whatever it can‘ to sign Salah in the winter transfer window. American outfit San Diego are also considering a move for the Egyptian.

Meanwhile, Konate is in the final months of his contract, although Liverpool are still in talks to extend it. French giants Paris Saint-Germain are one of the centre-back’s suitors.
