Paris Saint-Germain cruised into the Coupe de France semifinals with a dominant 7-0 win over Stade Briochin. After a pair of wins in the last couple of days, Luis Enrique and his team have an RMC Sport pundit impressed leading into the Liverpool tie.

The Championnat National 2 side put up some early resistance but conceded in the 16th minute. They held firm for a while, but PSG’s attack was relentless, with Gonçalo Ramos doubling the lead before halftime.

After the break, PSG took full control, with Désiré Doué playing a key role in the scoring. Ramos converted a penalty to start the second half, then Doué added a goal in the 55th minute and assisted Ramos and Senny Mayulu.

Ousmane Dembélé capped the scoring with a 66th-minute goal as PSG continued to dominate. The Parisians are also coming off a 3-2 win over Olympique Lyonnais this past weekend and one pundit spotlights what he likes from this squad.

Ahead of the first leg against Liverpool next week, RMC Sport’s Daniel Riolo stated that PSG are head and shoulders above the rest of Ligue 1 while stating that watching Enrique’s side is a “tactical and technical delight.”

“I don’t see how anyone can take them on, definitely not a Ligue 1 team, it’s impossible,” Riolo said (h/t Canal Supporters). “There isn’t a single team with enough technical quality to trouble a team that is this well-drilled now, collectively. This PSG is far, far ahead of the rest of Ligue 1, it’s glaring, they’re good everywhere, it’s a tactical and technical delight, it’s perfect!”

The first leg is set for Wednesday, March 5, with PSG hosting Liverpool at the Parc des Princes. Meanwhile, the return match takes place on March 11, when the capital club head to Anfield.
