Liverpool sign Norwegian international forward Jøsendal

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds this afternoon.
The 24-year-old started out in her native Norway with Avaldsnes IL. She came through the club’s second team before making her mark in the first team. A two-and-a-half-year spell at Rosenborg BK followed before Jøsendal joined latest club Hammarby IF in December 2023.
On the international stage, Jøsendal has been capped by Norway on 10 occasions at senior level.
After joining Liverpool, Jøsendal said “It feels amazing to be here. This has been my dream since I was a little kid – Liverpool has always been my favourite team and my whole family is supporting them as well, so it’s big for me.
“I spoke a lot with Gareth [Taylor] and Andy [O’Boyle] and that felt so good, and also to play in the Barclays Women’s Super League, the best league in Europe, is something I really look forward to.
“To play for this shirt is going to be so special, so I can’t wait to get started.”
Jøsendal is Liverpool’s third signing of the January transfer window.
