Liverpool are taking a close look at Flamengo midfielder Daniel Cabral.
The Mirror says Liverpool have made an approach for Flamengo sensation Cabral, according to reports from Brazil.
It is claimed Cabral, 18, is the subject of interest from 17 clubs and the Reds are believed to have made initial contact regarding a transfer.
The Brazil youth international is able to play as a central or defensive midfielder and has made one senior appearance for Flamengo, in the Copa do Brasil.
He was also named on the bench for a top-flight match against Sao Paulo last week.
Cabral is tipped for a very bright future and the report adds Flamengo plan to sell him for a club-record fee, surpassing the £38.7million Real Madrid paid for Vinicius Junior in 2017.
