Liverpool to send Djylian N’Guessan on loan to Brest | OneFootball

Liverpool are set to complete the signing of AS Saint-Étienne forward Djylian N’Guessan (18). The France youth international is then expected to spend the season on loan at Stade Brestois, as per a report from L’Équipe.

The France youth international striker is expected to join the Premier League giants next summer. The 18-year-old has also agreed to the move and has been allowed by his formative club to undergo a medical. The outlet understands that Liverpool see a bright future for N’Guessan. The versatile striker featured 13 times for Les Verts, logging a goal in a Coupe de France tie. The Saint-Nazaire-born 18-year-old notably impressed with France’s youth teams. He logged 12 goals in 14 games played with the U16 side, and scored 11 goals in as many games with France’s U17 side.

However, before making the move to Merseyside, he will first gain experience in Ligue 1 with Brest, L’Équipe understands. It is a straight loan for the forward.
