Liverpool were required to come from behind twice to salvage a draw at home to Nottingham Forest as Andoni Iraola’s wait for a win in the Reds dugout continues.

Forest took a shock but deserved lead through Dan Ndoye in the first-half, with the Swiss forward ending a 377-day goal drought in the Premier League to break the deadlock.

Liverpool responded after the break through Alexander Isak, tapping in from a Cody Gakpo cross, but the hosts found themselves trailing again just 12 minutes later after Morgan Gibbs-White converted from the spot.

A rocket from new signing Victor Munoz rescued a late point for Liverpool but there remains a lot to be desired from Iraola’s men.
