As we know, Mohamed Salah is a man of conviction and he never hesitates to speak his mind. This time, the Egyptian striker fired back at an X (formerly Twitter) account run by Liverpool fans. The account posted: “Name a bigger upgrade in football history”, alongside a photo of Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak replacing Luis Diaz and Darwin Núñez (the German and Swede taking the No. 7 and No. 9 shirts from the Colombian and Uruguayan).

Two reinforcements that cost the Merseyside club nearly €280 million. But Salah made sure to set the record straight. “How about we celebrate the great signings without disrespecting the Premier League champions?” he wrote. His words sparked reactions from Liverpool fans and also from former player Jamie Carragher.
