A recap on our six players out on loan

Six of our lads are now temporarily playing for other teams in order to take the next step in their  development. The international break gives us a great chance to take a look at how our loan players are getting on.

Hendry Blank | Hannover 96

The back three of the Bundesliga 2 title contenders has been working perfectly at the start of the season, with only two goals conceded in four games, giving Hannover the best defence in the league. With four brief appearances, Hendry has at least shared responsibility for 96 sitting at the top of the table with maximum points.

Bobby Clark | Derby County

The young Englishman quickly settled in with our summer friendly opponents, and it's no coincidence that he has played in each of their last five competitive matches. The 20-year-old also scored his first goal in the EFL Cup, but it wasn't enough to secure a place in the next round against Premier League side Burnley (1-2). Bobby recently played the full 90 minutes in the Championship clash with Ipswich Town, but even he couldn't turn the tide: The Rams are still waiting for a win this season.

Gaoussou Diakite | FC Lausanne-Sport

Diakite dashes Astana's hopes with dream solo – that is just one of the headlines in the newspapers that exemplify the whirlwind's meteoric rise. The Swiss media are celebrating the Malian, who has quickly become a regular at Lausanne. The exceptional talent helped his team qualify for the Europa Conference League group stage and secure opening victories in the Swiss league and cup – scoring goals in each game. He took a recent setback though and will have to sit out the next three games for a foul on an opponent, pending an appeal for his red card.

Leandro Morgalla | VfL Bochum

In contrast to Hendry, Leo's first few weeks have been quite different. While the club from the Ruhr relegated from the Bundesliga has had a stuttering start, losing three of four league matches, Leo has at least been able to put himself in the frame. Under cult coach Dieter Hecking, the 20-year-old is playing in the rather unfamiliar position of centre-back – but he has started all the time so far.

Zeteny Jano | Grazer AK

There was an early reunion with Zizi a few weeks ago when GAK visited the Red Bull Arena. The Red Jackets are still chasing their first win, and the creative midfielder is yet to make his first goal contribution. Coach Ferdinand Feldhofer has mostly placed his trust in him, with the midfield strategist playing in five of six competitive matches.

Adam Daghim | VfL Wolfsburg

The Dane moved to the car city on loan just a few days ago and is expected to make his debut in the German top flight this coming Saturday. That's when 1. FC Köln will be visiting the Wolves.
