WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this morning.
The 26-year-old joins London City Lionesses on a free transfer following the conclusion of her contract at German Google-Pixel Frauen Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. Anyomi spent five years with Eintracht Frankfurt, helping the club to cement their place as one of German football’s top sides.
On the international stage, Anyomi has been capped by Germany on 34 occasions in which she has scored four goals.
After joining London City Lionesses, Anyomi said “I’m delighted to be joining this club. I always wanted to play abroad and to have the offer from this club with their project means the world. I’ve heard a lot of things about the project here, I believe I can take the next step.
“My best friend is Shekiera Martinez who was at West Ham and has now joined Tottenham. She has already told me about the league, London and about the country so I’m ready. The Women’s Super League is fast and direct and there is a need to be more physical and to improve myself.
“I have played in the Champions League and a different league so I hope I can add something new to the team. I’m really excited to test myself against some of the biggest clubs and can’t wait to get to work with the players and staff.
“My message to the fans is that I can’t wait to meet you and play in front of you all and score some goals.”
Anyomi is London City Lionesses’ second signing of the summer transfer window.
