London City Lionesses sign OL Lyonnes forward Diani | OneFootball

London City Lionesses have completed the impressive signing of OL Lyonnes forward Kadidiatou Diani on a three-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Pride this morning.

It has been reported that London City Lionesses have paid an undisclosed fee to OL Lyonnes to secure Diani’s services.

The 31-year-old attacker has enjoyed a career playing at the very top level with Paris FC, Paris Saint-Germain and OL Lyonnes. She has won every domestic honour in the French game.

On the international stage, Diani has been capped by France on 126 occasions in which she has scored 26 goals.

After joining London City Lionesses, Diani said “I’m really happy to have signed here. It is an opportunity for me to discover a new country, a new city, a new team, and I can’t wait to start this next chapter.

“I’m excited to meet my new teammates, start work at the training ground and the stadium and meet the fans.

“It’s an independent club and very ambitious. It’s something which is quite rare in women’s football and something I believe in a lot.”

Diani is London City Lionesses’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window.
