Cole Palmer returned to form with a first half hat-trick, and he now has the most hat-tricks for a Chelsea player in Premier League history.

Having been on the bench against Arsenal in midweek, Palmer was restored to the team, and lined up on the right hand side.

Whilst he stole the headlines with the goals, Pedro also put in a great performance as he won both penalties, and impressed with his all round play, especially when it came to holding the ball up.

We saw how effective the Palmer and Pedro link up was at the Club World Cup, but we’ve not been able to see it often this season.

However, speaking after the game, Palmer expressed how much he actually enjoys playing with the Brazil international.

“I love playing with Joao Pedro,” he told Chelsea’s website.

“We’re good friends off the pitch, so it helps. Long may it continue.”

Up next for Palmer and Pedro is a game against Leeds at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night as Chelsea look to make it five league wins in a row.

Pedro has impressed with both his hold up and link up play, whilst he’s also shown he’s got an eye for goal, and is a good finisher.
