Chelsea legend John Terry believes Robert Sanchez is underrated as he praised his performance in Saturday’s win against Everton.
The Blues recorded a much needed 2-0 win to end a four game winless run and ease building pressure on Enzo Maresca.
Cole Palmer opened the scoring with his first goal since September, whilst Malo Gusto added a second just before half time.
It was a much needed response after three poor games on the spin, with Gusto very much the standout player on the pitch.
Chelsea recorded another clean sheet, with the partnership of Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana going from strength to strength.

Sanchez has now kept eight clean sheets in the league, the joint most with Arsenal’s David Raya, and Terry feels the Chelsea number one is underrated.
“Big clean sheet as well for the boys, we deserved that today,” he said on TikTok.
“I thought defensively, we were very good. Sanchez was excellent as well, and has been very good in recent weeks.
“Long may that continue.”
Sanchez has improved hugely this season, and is making far fewer mistakes than he’s done in previous seasons, and is fast becoming very reliable between the sticks.

Whilst Sanchez recorded another clean sheet, Gusto was very much the best player on the pitch, despite Cole Palmer scoring.
The France international also registered an assist, and put in arguably his best performance in a Chelsea shirt since joining the club.

Danny Murphy believes Chelsea are “blessed” to have Gusto, whilst Maresca has previously stated he’s one of the main players at the club.
Gusto is unlikely to start against Cardiff in the Carabao Cup quarter final on Tuesday evening, but will very much have an important role to play over the busy festive period.
