Chelsea will welcome Everton at Stamford Bridge this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Blues suffered a tough 2-1 loss away at Atalanta in midweek, so they would be eager to put in a much-improved performance this weekend.
Enzo Maresca will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to his first XI for this clash. Cole Palmer, Alejandro Garnacho and Malo Gusto could all play from the start of this game against the Merseyside outfit.
Robert Sanchez will play in between the sticks for the Blues after conceding two goals in his last appearance. Trevoh Chalobah will operate alongside Wesley Fofana at the heart of Maresca’s backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Malo Gusto will fill in as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Josh Acheampong and Jorell Hato will provide cover for the defensive positions on the Chelsea bench.

Enzo Fernandez and Reece James anchor the midfield for the Blues as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition in the middle the park.
The talented trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto will function just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to link up play well if the Blues are to secure a good result this weekend.
Jamie Gittens, Estevao and Andrey Santos will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Joao Pedro will spearhead Maresca’s attack in the final third. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet against the Toffees this Saturday.
Marc Guiu will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the West London club are in need of a goal by then.
