Pablo Pagis tormented Angers as Lorient won 2-0 on Sunday, scoring early after Louis Mouton lost the ball and later sparking the second from a corner.
According to L'Équipe, Pagis was the standout, rated seven. He slipped between Mouton and Camara to drive in with a firm finish on nine minutes, and his relaxed corner led to the second on 58. He also linked play with tidy touches that quickened Lorient’s tempo.
Montassar Talbi earned seven, rarely troubled in duels or in the chase. His reading and focus exuded calm, and he stood in the path of Van den Boomen’s shot on 66.
Yassin Belkhdim got four, full of running yet never on top down his flank. His limited attacking impact came with small technical errors. Hanin replaced him on 67.
Noah Cadiou, also rated seven, was preferred to Avom and bossed midfield. He progressed the ball purposefully and covered diligently.
Louis Mouton received three. Usually so tidy, he lost possession for the opener and lacked bite in the moment, and he offered little improvement after the break. Machine replaced him on 75.
Goduine Koyalipou was given three, his threat easy to contain and his runs lacking edge. He tried a few times without real danger, and a poor clearance contributed to the second. Peter replaced him on 75.
