Lorient travel to Lyon on Sunday at 20:45 with a depleted squad after a week dominated by news of coach Olivier Pantaloni's impending departure.

They beat OL 1-0 at Le Moustoir on the seventh of December. According to L'Équipe, word of Pantaloni's end-of-season exit circulated on Monday, then players were informed in a meeting on Tuesday.

Pantaloni told reporters most of the group were a little disappointed, and said that without trust it was not worth continuing.

With six league games remaining, Lorient need a quick reset before returning to Groupama Stadium.

Captain Laurent Abergel is close to a comeback but will not be available against OL. His stand-in Montassar Talbi, troubled by a calf, is also out, so Théo Le Bris will again take the armband.

Dermane Karim, sidelined with an ankle problem, and Mohamed Bamba, who is resuming after injury, are also missing.
