Lucas Blondel eager for more minutes: asks to play with the reserves again

Unlike other footballers, Lucas Blondel is not content with not playing in the first team and has once again requested to play with the reserves. The right back is not being considered by the coaching staff, currently led by Claudio Úbeda, and for that reason he will return to play for Mariano Herrón’s team.

Lucas Blondel was one of the players sidelined by Russo’s management, but, unlike other teammates who are not playing and just continue training to stay fit, the former Tigre player is looking to maintain his match rhythm and has found a place to do so in the reserves.

In the previous match that Mariano Herrón’s team played at the Ezeiza training ground, against Newell’s, Blondel started and played the full ninety minutes. Then came the victory against Barracas Central away, and now the youngsters will play at home again. There, the right back requested to play once more.

With Lucas Blondel: time and how to watch the reserves vs Belgrano

The Boca reserves match against Belgrano will take place this Wednesday, October 8, starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Xeneize training ground in Ezeiza. The match, corresponding to round 13, will be refereed by Facundo Carretero and broadcast on LPF Play.

Boca wants to take the lead from Belgrano.

Mariano Herrón’s side is coming off a narrow away win over El Guapo and wants to keep up their winning ways. Up next is the Pirata from Córdoba, who are in first place by a single point. Xeneize has 26 points, while Belgrano has 27. Boca will look to take advantage of the Pirata’s draw in their last outing (1-1 against Estudiantes) and make the most of their home advantage, one of their strongest assets in this tournament.
