Lucas Paquetá’s aunt jumps the gun on Flamengo return as West Ham allow medical

Lucas Paquetá’s aunt appeared to reveal his Flamengo return after posting on social media on Wednesday.

West Ham confirmed the 28-year-old has permission to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with Flamengo, after the clubs agreed a deal for his permanent move.

Bianca Tolentino, the midfielder’s aunt, shared a heartfelt message urging him to be happy, offering affection and calling on Flamengo’s fanbase to look after “our boy”.

Despite the online buzz, Flamengo have not yet formalised the signing.

The agreement is worth 42 million euros, with 15.25 million euros to be paid upfront to West Ham, about R$ 94.5 million. The remaining 26.75 million euros, roughly R$ 165.8 million, will be settled in four instalments by 2028.
