Luciano Spalletti criticises Kolo Muani after Juventus return and 1-0 at Frosinone | OneFootball

Luciano Spalletti delivered a sharp assessment of Randal Kolo Muani after Juventus’s 1-0 against Frosinone.

Kolo Muani failed to make a decisive impact and missed a big early chance, sending the ball over the bar. Speaking to DAZN, Spalletti said they know his quality but if he has not played for two years there must be a reason.

The 27-year-old previously featured for Juventus from January to July 2025 under Thiago Motta, then Igor Tudor. He scored eight Serie A goals and provided one assist in 16 appearances.

He has rejoined on a permanent basis this summer, one year after his first spell ended, and this was his first outing back.

Spalletti added that Kolo Muani can protect the ball, find space and is physically strong, but said these are the matches in which he needs to score.
