Luis Enrique hails Filipe Luís and recalls Flamengo final before PSG v Monaco | OneFootball

Luis Enrique has praised Monaco head coach Filipe Luís and reflected on PSG’s Club World Cup final against Flamengo ahead of Friday’s meeting.

According to Coluna Do Fla, PSG host Monaco at the Parc des Princes on Friday at 16:00 Brasília time in the third round of the French top flight.

Enrique said this is Filipe Luís’s first job at a European club and highlighted his important work in Brazil. He recalled recognising his qualities when preparing to face Flamengo. Filipe Luís took charge of Monaco in July this year, a few months after leaving Flamengo in March following a poor run. Flamengo now turn to Sunday’s fixture in 2026, when Leonardo Jardim’s side face Remo at the Mangueirão at 16:00 Brasília time in the 26th round of the Brasileirão.
