Luis Miguel Ramis has been named head coach of Club Atlético Osasuna on a two-season contract to 30 June 2028, his first stint in LaLiga EA Sports. El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that the 55-year-old will take charge in Pamplona with his trusted backroom staff.
Joining him are assistant José Manuel Gil, fellow assistant Iván Madroño, fitness coach Miguel Ángel Fernández and analyst José Fajardo.
Ramis arrives from Burgos CF after a standout campaign in Segunda División, where his side collected 72 points and set historic marks despite missing the promotion play-offs. Under him, Burgos conceded the fewest goals in the division and stood out for tactical balance, competitiveness and strength away from home.
The Catalan coach began in Real Madrid’s academy, later leading Castilla, before spells with Almería, Albacete, Tenerife, Espanyol and Burgos. His teams have earned several play-off qualifications and been noted for defensive solidity and competitive edge.
Osasuna are banking on his experience, work-rate and tactical approach to steer a new phase for the club in Primera División.
