According to Superdeporte, Luis Miguel Ramis has agreed a two-season contract with Club Atlético Osasuna, taking charge until 30 June 2028 in what will be his first LaLiga EA Sports role as head coach.
He will be joined by his trusted staff, with José Manuel Gil as assistant head coach, Iván Madroño as assistant, Miguel Ángel Fernández as fitness coach, and José Fajardo as analyst.
Ramis arrives from a strong season at Burgos CF, where his side collected 72 points in Segunda División and set historic marks despite missing the promotion play-offs. Under his watch Burgos conceded the fewest goals in the division and stood out for tactical balance, competitiveness and their form away from home.
The 55-year-old Catalan, a former footballer, has vast experience in Spanish dugouts. He began in Real Madrid’s academy before leading Castilla, then took charge at Almería, Albacete, Tenerife, Espanyol and Burgos. His teams have reached the promotion play-offs several times and earned a reputation for defensive solidity.
After a decade in the second tier, Ramis now steps into the top flight, with Osasuna trusting his experience, work ethic and tactical approach to guide a new phase for the club in Primera División.
