Arsenal youngster Luis Munoz has been named in the squad for their UEFA Youth League game with Bayern Munich at the age of 13.

Munoz has played up age groups before and, in September, was part of the England Under-15 squad.

The midfielder was also part of Arsenal’s Under-16 squad earlier this month that were crowned Premier League National Champions.

Emerson Nwaneri, whose older brother Ethan is part of the first team, was in that squad as well and scored twice as Arsenal beat Aston Villa 2-1 in the final.

The 15-year-old has been named on the bench against Bayern today in the UEFA Youth League, which is for Under-19 teams. Goalkeeper Charlie Phillips, who is also 15, is on the bench, too.

Defender Angelinou Pedro, who captained Arsenal to victory in their Premier League National Champions final win over Aston Villa, is another schoolboy included in the squad to face Bayern.

Max Dowman, who has appeared for the first team this season, is in the squad and provides experience.

Arsenal have lost all four of their UEFA Youth League games this season and are unlikely to make the knockout stages.
