Luiz Sá leaves Palmeiras for Série B side Cuiabá | OneFootball

Palmeiras academy goalkeeper Luiz Sá, 18, is leaving the club to join Cuiabá after limited opportunities with the Sub-20. He has been at Palmeiras since 2015.

According to Nosso Palestra, the move involves no fee, with Palmeiras transferring a percentage of the goalkeeper’s economic rights to the Série B outfit.

His contract in São Paulo had been due to run until March 2027, but both parties chose to conclude it early.

A multiple title winner in Palmeiras’ youth set-up, Luiz Sá will continue his career in Brazilian football.

On Monday 24, Palmeiras also agreed the sale of forward Allan, 22, to Manchester City of England for around 37.5 million euros fixed, plus 2.5 million euros in bonuses.
