He has been fully reintegrated without obvious limitations, although it remains highly unlikely he will be selected for Sunday, 8 February.

The No 11 now enters the next phase of his recovery, focused on regaining previous fitness levels.

Preparations featured gym work before the squad moved out onto the pitch, with Enzo Barrenechea also edging closer to full fitness.

This season Lukebakio has 11 appearances for Benfica, six in the Liga Portugal Betclic, three in the Champions League, one in the Taça de Portugal and one in the Taça da Liga.

Across 835 minutes he has scored one goal and provided three assists, and is valued at 20 million euros.
