Olympique Lyonnais have apologised to supporters who experienced access problems at Groupama Stadium during Saturday’s match against Rennes.
Play was suspended for 13 minutes after a banner insulting Saint-Etienne was displayed.

The club said in a statement that it regretted the interruption and remained committed to respect and fair play.
It added that players and staff on both sides work hard for these fixtures and deserve respect, rivalries included, and that these principles should apply at every match in every stadium.
Such interruptions are rare in other grounds, and in some cases virtually non-existent.
