Lyon set to sign Tanner Tessmann from Venezia | OneFootball

According to L’Équipe, Olympique Lyonnais have reached an agreement with Venezia to sign midfielder Tanner Tessmann (22). The American international midfielder is set to arrive at the Groupama Stadium for a fee in the region of €6m after an agreement was made between the two respective clubs.

Venezia have given Tessmann the green light to travel to complete his move to the Rhône club. The 22-year-old is set to sign a 5-year contract with OL that should keep him at the club until 2029. With personal terms agreed, all that is left for a move to be complete is his medical. The defensive midfielder should travel to Lyon on Sunday or Monday to complete his medical.

Tessmann has had a busy summer. The USMNT midfielder represented his country at the recent Olympic Games in Paris – making 4 appearances. After some impressive displays, the former Dallas player attracted interest from Fiorentina and Inter, Fabrizio Romano reports, but it is Lyon’s project that he has been the most convinced by.
