Hearts beat Hibernian 1-0 at Tynecastle Park as Tómas Magnússon's late winner kept the leaders top of the Scottish Premiership.

The first half was tight, with the Jambos lively through Pierre Kaboré and Islam Chesnokov before Alexander Schwolow denied Martin Boyle just before the break.

After the restart, Raphael Sallinger saved Harry Milne's strike, and Hibs forced a stream of corners. Munashe Garan'anga was booked and then went off injured minutes later.

Substitute Tómas Magnússon steered in Milne's cross from a set piece to settle the game (88.).

Hearts registered 11 attempts, with two on target. Hibs managed five attempts and eight corners.

Next, Hearts visit Rangers. Hibs host St Mirren.
