FC Barcelona are sweating over the fitness of several key players heading into their first game after the international break against Girona.
Dani Olmo has now been ruled out of the contest, along with Gavi, Joan Garcia, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Barça, though, hope to recover some other players, such as Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, and Raphinha, along with Ferran Torres, who has returned to the club today from the Spain camp due to muscle overload.
Now, in a positive development, journalist Adria Albets reports that both Lamine and Fermin have started training normally in today’s session – the first of the week.
Lamine missed four matches due to pubic discomfort last month, but returned against Real Sociedad and even went on to start against PSG earlier in October.
However, the discomfort re-emerged in the PSG defeat, leading to the young winger missing the Sevilla clash and withdrawing from the Spain squad.

There had been concerns about his recovery and whether he can be fully fit in time for the Clasico later this month.
But Lamine’s recovery has been progressing well, and with the young prodigy resuming normal training today, a return against Girona appears very likely.
As for Fermin, he suffered a muscle injury late in the game against Getafe and missed the next four matches vs Real Oviedo, Real Sociedad, PSG, and Sevilla.
The attacking midfielder, though, had resumed individual training with the ball over the past week, suggesting that a return was inching closer.
Now, with him also starting to train normally, along with Yamal, Fermin, too, could make his comeback this weekend against Girona.
