“Makes me very proud” Arsenal star celebrates a decade in England

Gabriel Jesus first moved to England in 2017 when he joined Manchester City directly from Palmeiras as a youngster, and in less than six months, he will have spent a decade in England’s top flight.

“Looking back and seeing that I’ve managed to enter the list of Brazilians with the most goals and titles in England makes me very proud.

“Those numbers represent more than just results. They also show consistency, daily work and the ability to remain at a high level in one of the world’s most competitive leagues.”

Jesus can now look ahead to the next stage of his career, with his future still uncertain. Arsenal have been tipped to move him on, but his decision to reject Napoli means he could remain in England for longer.

Whatever happens next, reaching almost a decade in the Premier League is an achievement the striker clearly values. His comments show that he is proud of his consistency, his goals and the success he has enjoyed during his time in English football.
