Manchester City have condemned 'disgusting' online abuse received by defender Kyle Walker.

Pep Guardiola's men suffered a disappointing Champions League defeat at the hands of Juventus on Tuesday evening, and it was afterwards when the England star received a message that he subsequently shared on social media.

"Manchester City strongly condemns the racist abuse that Kyle Walker was subject to online following last night’s fixture," read an official statement issued by the club.

"We refuse to tolerate discrimination of any kind, regardless of whether that be in stadiums or online.

"We will be offering Kyle our full support following the disgusting treatment he has received."

City face their rivals in the Manchester derby this weekend.
