Man City ‘found guilty’ of breaching Premier League financial rules

According to reports, Manchester City have been found guilty on almost all counts of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules.

The Athletic reports that sanctions are undecided at this stage.

The verdict is said to have been delivered by an independent commission.

City were charged in February 2023 with more than 100 alleged breaches, accusations the club strenuously denied.

The club are reported to be preparing an appeal.
