Manchester City turned their attention to Everton ace Iliman Ndiaye on Monday evening and appeared to have secured his services.
The news arrives from The Athletic and Fabrizio Romano as the two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement 'in principle' for £65m.

The forward is set to complete his medical on Tuesday.
Ndiaye, 26, is the talent City had pivoted to following the collapse of a transfer for Liverpool star Cody Gakpo.
That said, the Senegal international was initially set to wear white with Tottenham before City expressed interest.
The rumour mill has Spurs now working on signing Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk instead.
Ndiaye joined Everton in 2024 from Marseille and went on to record 17 goals and four assists in 73 games.
