Manchester City have agreed a deal with Lille for Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.
Sky Sports report that the 18-year-old, who starred for Morocco during the 2026 World Cup, is set to join Enzo Maresca’s side in a deal worth £86m. The midfielder will become the most expensive teenager in Premier League history, surpassing the £58.9m Manchester United spent on Leny Yoro in 2024.
City are continuing their midfield rebuild after signing Elliot Anderson and selling Rodri, Tijjani Reijnders and releasing Bernardo Silva.
TalkSPORT say that Chelsea have rejected a loan bid from Italian side Roma for winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
The 22-year-old made 27 appearances in his first season for the Blues after signing from Borussia Dortmund last summer in a £51.5m deal. Xabi Alonso’s side have reported blocked the Italian’s attempts to sign the England Under-21 international, with Gittens set to be given a chance to impress the new head coach.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde, according to Metro.
United are eager to strengthen at left-back, having previously been linked with Newcastle’s Lewis Hall. Balde, 22, looks set to depart the Nou Camp after an injury hit 2025-26 campaign, with the Spanish Champions signing Joao Cancelo on a free transfer from Al-Hilal.
Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano reports that Besiktas have submitted a bid to sign Joe Willock from Newcastle after making the 27-year-old their top transfer target.
The Chronicle Live says the Magpies are holding out for £17m after rejecting a £10m bid from the Super Lig side earlier in the summer.
Finally, Real Madrid will not let Liverpool sign Endrick this summer after letting young forward Gonzalo Garcia join Fulham, according to Football Insider.
