Final team news for Monday night’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford shows six players ruled out and four listed as doubts, with a star expected to return.

It is the first league outing in over two weeks for both clubs, and United’s first fixture in 24 days after the 2-2 draw at Bournemouth on Friday, March 20, when Harry Maguire was sent off. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Michael Carrick’s side held an intensive training camp in Dublin this week.

Leeds had no such break, edging West Ham on penalties after extra time in last Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final, winning 4-2 in the shootout. Daniel Farke then outlined fresh injury setbacks on Thursday.

Midfielder Anton Stach suffered ankle ligament damage after Max Kilman’s follow-through at West Ham, leaving in a protective boot and on crutches. Farke considers a May return more realistic than April.

Joe Rodon also sustained an ankle injury early in the second half and is out, with May deemed more realistic and any April minutes a bonus.

Dan James, absent at West Ham, sustained an adductor strain before that tie and will miss Monday, with a couple of weeks out expected.

United are without Maguire through suspension. Patrick Dorgu, the Danish international winger, is still rehabbing a hamstring injury from January’s 3-2 win at Arsenal despite travelling to Dublin, and he is ruled out. Matthijs de Ligt has not featured since November due to a back problem and is also out.
