Man Utd youngster Chido Obi to join Willem II on loan

Manchester United striker Chido Obi is close to completing a loan move away from the club.

The teenager first joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2024 and went on to make eight senior appearances for the club in his first campaign.

Still just 18, Chido Obi is now set for more regular football away from the club with Willem II. Dutch outlet Voetbal International reporting that only the formalities, including a medical, is needed for the transfer to be completed.

Willem II are back in the Eredivisie following promotion to the top flight last season but are yet to win any of their opening three fixtures, losing twice and drawing 2-2 against Heerenveen last time out.
