Manchester City and Galatasaray have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League league phase fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Tonight’s match is massive for Pep Guardiola’s side. They have to win tonight and hope results elsewhere go their way to clinch a top-eight finish in the table. If City achieve that goal, they’ll avoid a knockout tie next month, which will add two extra fixtures to City’s already busy calendar. They’ll face a Galatasaray side that is packed with quality. Also, Leroy Sane and City legend Ilkay Gundogan return to the Etihad to face a team where they both made significant contributions.

Manchester City enter tonight’s match with a host of players unavailable. Rúben Dias, Joško Gvardiol, John Stones, Mateo Kovačić, Savinho, and Oscar Bobb are all ruled out due to injury. Rodri is suspended for tonight’s match. Marc Guéhi and Antoine Semenyo are ineligible to play in the Champions League.
