Manchester City and Liverpool have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s massive Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium. Both teams will be eager to gain ground on Arsenal after Mikel Arteta’s side drew 2-all with Sunderland yesterday. A tense and tight match awaits between two teams who will be hoping to be contend for the Premier League title this season.
For Manchester City, they’ll be without Mateo Kovacic for today’s match. The Croatian midfielder is set to be sidelined for a few months due to injury. Pep Guardiola told the media yesterday that it is unlikely that Rodri will take part in today’s match. City’s midfield general isn’t 100% fit and it is unlikely that any risks will be taken with his fitness by City.

Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the starting lineup that beat Borussia Dortmund. In comes Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki. John Stones, Tijjani Reijnders and Savinho drop to the bench for today’s match.
As expected, Rodri isn’t included in Manchester City’s matchday squad for today’s match.
