Manchester City close in on Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri | OneFootball

Manchester City are a few steps away from reaching an agreement with Premier League counterparts Wolves for the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri.

According to Ben Jacobs, Manchester City and Wolves are negotiating the final details for the transfer of Ait-Nouri as an agreement is imminent soon.

John Percy of The Telegraph revealed that Man City are set to pay £35m as transfer fees for the signing of the Algerian as soon as the deal is agreed by both parties.

The idea for Pep Guardiola is to take Ait-Nouri to the Club World Cup and therefore negotiations were rushed by City representatives in the past few days to materialise the signing by June 10.

The 23-year-old spent the last five seasons with Wolves, playing a regular role as a left-back. Last season, he clocked 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring four times and assisting seven.
