Manchester City target Désiré Doué yet to begin extension talks with PSG | OneFootball

Désiré Doué’s (19) performances for Paris Saint-Germain in 2025 have caught the eyes of Manchester City, as per Sacha Tavolieri. The Cityzens’ interest in the France international has pushed PSG to begin contract extension negotiations, as per Tavolieri, however, contrary to those reports, RMC Sport understands that there are not yet any talks regarding a renewal.

Doué, after a difficult start following his move from formative club Stade Rennais at the start of the season, has become an important element of a PSG side that have already wrapped up the Ligue 1 title and are looking to win that all-elusive UEFA Champions League title.

Manchester City were reportedly prepared to do “mad things” to bring Doué to the Etihad Stadium, however, the player has shown a clear desire to remain at the Parc des Princes. That being said, RMC Sport understands that there are not yet any talks regarding an extension to his current deal, which runs until 2029. However, happy with his performances, PSG could begin talks over a renewal at a later date.
