Manchester City will begin their UEFA Champions League campaign tomorrow night against FC Porto at the Estádio do Dragão. Enzo Maresca’s side face a difficult draw in the Champions League league phase, so tomorrow night’s match does feel like an important match for them. City hosted an open training session earlier today and it is obvious that they will be without two players for the match against FC Porto.

Manchester City will face FC Porto without Nico O’Reilly and Jeremy Doku.

Enzo Maresca’s squad trained earlier today and there were two notable absentees from Manchester City’s training session. Jeremy Doku and Nico O’Reilly failed to train. Doku remains sidelined due to the calf injury that he sustained against Arsenal in the FA Community Shield match three weeks ago. Nico O’Reilly suffered a back injury in the warm-up ahead of Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Coventry City on Saturday.

Confirmation of Nico O’Reilly and Jeremy Doku’s unavailability for tomorrow night’s match against FC Porto arrived when the Manchester City travelling squad for the match was announced. Neither player was named in the squad, which can be seen below.
