Man City will look to pile more pressure on Arsenal in the Premier League title race as they welcome West Ham to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola’s men took their winning run to six games in all competitions in midweek by beating Brentford in the EFL Cup. A win here would send them top of the table even if only temporarily, with Arsenal heading to Merseyside to take on Everton later in the day.
Manchester City XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Nunes, Dias, Gvardiol, O’Reilly; Gonzalez; Silva, Reijnders, Cherki, Foden; Haaland
City will no doubt make several changes to their starting eleven from the midweek win over Brentford. Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias will expect to return, but Guardiola remains without a handful of key players.

City are one of several Premier League teams affected by the Africa Cup of Nations as Rayan Ait-Nouri and Omar Marmoush have jetted off to Morrocco to represent Algeria and Egypt respectively.
Selfishy, boss Pep Guardiola will hope they are knocked out and able to return to club football as soon as possible given the injury problems his squad is facing at the moment.
Mateo Kovacic is not expected to feature again until well into the new year, while Jeremy Doku and Rodri are also longer-term injures – although the duo should return before Kovacic.
John Stones has been suffering from a thigh problem lately and will miss out, while Oscar Bobb was withdrawn after just 19 minutes of the EFL Cup win on Wednesday night.
The Norwegian is being assessed, but has been ruled out of this clash.
Rayan Cherki scored a wonderful goal to send City on their way to the EFL Cup semi-finals on Tuesday night and his form recently has been a major talking point at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola has restructured his squad in a big way in the last few years and players like Omar Marmoush and Cherki, who signed from Lyon for a €36.5m fee last summer, have big shoes to fill with Kevin de Bruyne having left the club for Napoli in the summer.
In Cherki however, the City faithful are confident they’ve got a new gem of a creative midfielder to enjoy and that goal came on the back of a run of four assists in five games, including a flamboyant cross that was headed in by Phil Foden in the win over Sunderland.
In the victory over Brentford, Cherki was used as a false nine following the early injury sustained by Oscar Bobb and he delivered a sumptuous display in that role, giving Guardiola even more options on how best to deploy the 22 year old.
Given that much has been made of the reliance that the City attack places on the brilliant Erling Haaland, Cherki’s emergence as a well-rounded attacking threat will no doubt worry the rest of the Premier League.
Not least West Ham who will likely have to face the pair of them alongside an in-form Phil Foden on Saturday.
