In a recent report, Fichajes revealed that Manchester United are prepared to step up their efforts to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson. It is believed that the Red Devils are eager to acquire the services of the Brazilian midfield ace in this summer transfer period.

Ederson’s Impressive Form In Serie A

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a decent campaign at the Italian club as he has managed to produce a run of solid performances for them at the centre of the park. Ederson has netted three goals and secured one assist in 41 matches for Atalanta this season on all fronts.

The Brazil international is currently among the best central midfielders in Serie A. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting him this off-season.

The Brazilian sensation is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a holding midfielder or play in the number ten position if asked to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in the Premier League if the Mancunian giants manage to get him on board this off-season.
